Ltd. is a multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy firm committed to delivering sustainable, practical, and technically sound solutions across Nepal. Since its establishment, the firm has been providing professional services in planning, civil engineering, environmental studies, geotechnical investigation, geophysical analysis, social studies, and feasibility assessment for both public and private sector projects.
With a philosophy centered on innovation, appropriate technology, and sustainable development, Milestone combines technical excellence with integrated planning approaches to address complex infrastructure and development challenges. Message from the Managing Director
Since our establishment in 2008, Milestone Design & Planning Consult has been guided by a simple but enduring philosophy: that appropriate technology, sound planning, and genuine knowledge transfer are the foundations of sustainable development. What began as a small team of committed professionals has grown into a multidisciplinary consultancy trusted for its work across urban planning, civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental studies, and socio-economic development. Every project we undertake, whether a road network master plan, a hydropower feasibility study, or a community water supply scheme, is approached with the same conviction: that good design must serve people and the environment in equal measure, and that its benefits must last well beyond the life of any single assignment.
Today, our strength lies in our people; a dedicated team of urban planners, engineers, socio-economists, and surveyors, supported by a wider network of specialists we draw on as projects demand. ORGANIZATION
Four sections, one Managing Director, one integrated workflow.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and Managing Director, our practice is organised into
four operating sections, staffed by over 30 full-time, part-time and resource professionals.
Planning
Preparation of master plans for buildings, complexes, and development areas, including physical development plans, periodic plans, rural electrification plans, parks, museums, and other urban and regional development projects.
Engineering Section
Survey, study, design, and supervision of civil engineering projects, including water supply systems, roads, bridges, micro and mini hydropower projects, buildings, towers, HT lines, environmental studies, feasibility studies, mapping, and drafting services.
Management Section
Management of financial, administrative, and operational activities, including accounts, office administration, field coordination, marketing, business development, client relations, project monitoring, and organizational support services.
Administration Section
Administration of procurement, inventory, logistics, and support services, including store management, purchasing, documentation, staff coordination, office assistance, and operational support for field and office teams.
